NICENE CREED
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, visible and invisible.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only-begotten Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
was incarnate from the Holy Spirit
and the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Father Ben & Lei Edstrom are returning to Sandpoint, ID where they lived previously for 6 years. After having served in pastoral ministry for many years, they discovered the rich faith tradition of Anglicanism and helped establish a church in Everett, WA for the past eight years. They are excited to return to the slower, intentional pace of life in Bonner County & worship with believers who are longing for a rich and rooted faith tradition.
Q: Aren’t There Enough Churches in Sandpoint, Idaho?
A: Sandpoint is a growing town, in a growing region. As such, the need for the gospel grows. In fact, did you know that church plants have the highest rate of conversions?
There is a lack of historically rooted, liturgical, sacramental churches within the region around Sandpoint, yet there is a hunger for just this type of church. This has been especially evident to us through the many contacts we have already made or have been directed our way as we begin the preliminary work for the church plant in Sandpoint.
Q: When will this church start gathering?
A: We are currently in the pre-plant stage when we are building our plant team, gathering resources and praying for the right facility to gather in. We send regular updates via our enewsletter if you'd like to be kept updated.
Q: How Can I Support this Ministry?
A: We invite you to join us in this divinely orchestrated endeavor. What more exciting & rewarding ways do we have to steward our resources than in sharing the transformative love of God with the worn and weary of the world?
